In July 2014 Google added a line of rating in commercial advertisements. This innovation has been available to users from the United States. Now Google bring them to the people of Europe, starting with the UK, France and Germany.
This 5-star rating system represents aggregated review data for the product, compiled from multiple sources including merchants, third-party aggregators, editorial sites and users.
So as it was before, the rating system will be based on the median estimate of the goods and the feedback received from several sources.
Google noted that goods rating allows better differentiate the products, so sellers will get more targeted traffic through product lists.
But, despite the many advantages of the ratings, some experts expect a lots of criticism of that innovation, because it’s, in their opinion, it is an another step towards the elimination of boundaries between organic results of issuance and paid adds.
