Through the years, Google has changed multiple times and on September 1st Google represented the latest one and yesterday introduced it to the world.
You’ll start seeing our new logo, icon and animated dots soon across Google, including when you search on mobile web, and of course, the Google App.
In addition, Google announced that the new logo is a part of a rebranding that connected to the August announcement of the Alphabet.
The Google homepage has been updated on the Android devices, so now users can go through new content by swiping and tapping.
On Android, we’ve also updated the “home page” of our Google app (which you can always get to by tapping the new, colorful G icon).
Besides, Google improved the organization of the cards. Now they will be organized by category so users can find what they are looking for much faster. The cards will show users relevant content that depends on the day.
These updates also apply to the whole Google family and various icons and logos were renewed across multiple screens and platforms.
